A Word About Your Anglican Rosary
There is no prescribed, “right” or “wrong”
way to pray with your Anglican prayer beads. Many people have found
that these ACTS of Prayer are a useful way to get started. They
are offered only as one suggested form for using the rosary.
The ACTS of Prayer may be reproduced without permission.
On the Cross
In the name of God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit
On the Invitatory Bead
Oh God, make speed to save me.
Oh Lord make haste to help me.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As
it was in the beginning, is now and will be forever. Amen
The First Cruciform Bead:
Adoration
Bless the Lord, oh my soul and all that is within me. Bless
his holy name.
Say prayers of praise on each of the seven beads of the week.
The doxology is a good one to use. Use your own words or use praises
from the psalms or from worship liturgies.
The Second Cruciform Bead:
Confession
Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me a sinner.
On these seven beads: Ask forgiveness for sins committed in thought,
word, and deed. Name any sins that come to mind. Ask God to forgive
you in Jesus' name.

The Third Cruciform Bead:
Thanksgiving
Thanks be to God for all blessings He so richly bestows.
Say prayers of thanks on each of these seven beads.
The Fourth Cruciform Bead:
Supplication
Holy God, holy and mighty, holy immortal one, have mercy upon
us.
Say prayers of request, intercession, etc., on each bead of
the last week.
To Conclude
Oh God, let your holy angels have charge of us, that the wicked
one have no power over us, in Jesus name. Amen
The Lord's Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name, thy kingdom
come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this
day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive
those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power,
and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.
I will bless the Lord.
Thanks be to God!
